With this group, attracting any random person over the internet, I expect it to be extremely friendly and have an emphasis on fun and exercise rather than competition. We'll play for 2-3 hours. We'll voluntarily split into two teams, set up goals, and play. …

I played soccer growing up until my college years and looking to play again for fun with others in the local Danbury, CT area. Open to men and women of all levels of experience. Main focus is to play for fun and exercise, meet new people, to learn, and help others learn! Cleats, although suggested, are not mandatory, and shin guards are highly recommended.
I started this group to get fun pickup soccer games started in Kissena park. The turf field there is decent, I can supply pinnies and a ball so all we need is 20 or so players every now and then. I'm 30 and at the end of my playing career so I'm happy to play with anybody of almost any level. We'll say please be of basic to advanced ability. Hopefully this works and we'll get some games going soon.
